3rd shot Ontario was approved by the province about 2 weeks ago yet Halton region where I live has not given the OK yet. Has anyone else experienced this problem in Canada?

3rd shot Ontario Canada
I had no problem at all getting my 3rd shot last week, in fact the Chemo clinic actually contacted me within a couple of days and set up the appointment. I live in Toronto ( North York ).
Just a footnote to my previous post, I had to obtain a letter from my Onco/Haem stating that I qualified for the shot. There's 3 different criteria which one has to fall under to get the dose.
I'm in Nova Scotia, currently the province is not at all on board with boosters at this point for anyone. I really hope this changes soon as more and more restrictions are loosened.
I live Waterloo region in Ontario and received my 3rd shot last Friday. Booked the appointment on line as a 1st dose (as instructed by the website). There were a few inquiries as to what medical condition I had to qualify for the 3rd dose by the nurse at the vaccination centre and then the injection was done.I did have a very sore arm for 3 days after and a mild fever for 24 hours on the 2nd day after the injection.
Apparently it’s up to each district authority to administer the third shot in Ontario. Some are more efficient than others and some have more eligible patients than others so……. Looks like Sunnybrook in Toronto is now starting to book third shots and Niagara Region is still trying to figure out how to administer it. I think though, most affected Ontarians should manage to get a third shot in the next few weeks. If you haven’t heard, call the physician who is in charge of your “active treatment”. Unfortunately, w&w patients do not qualify.
I live in a smaller city in south western Ontario and they are just starting the third booster next week . Was able to go on the public health site yesterday to book my appointment for Tuesday. A doctors note is required when you get to your injection facility I was told you can bring a note from your local physician as my specialist is at a clinic in another city
Thanks to all for your input. Still no word from Halton region.
