Has anyone gotten sick after second Moderna shot?

My husband caught a cold after his second shot that he ended up having to take antibiotics for. Now it seems like his lymph nodes are swelling up and his cancer is coming back. He’s on Imbruvica

His lymph nodes in his head are really swollen and he gets terrible headaches. We go back to his doctor this week to see what is going on with him.

I think most people get a little sick after any of the 3 shoots , it’s a normal response.

Hi. Yes I agree but he ended up getting a sinus infection and then antibiotics. But since his cancer has come back 😞. It he will get better! We follow up with oncology Thursday.

oh my, I didn't know there were lymph nodes in the head. I hope he gets help fast. severe head aches are a nightmare.

Hi. I was down for about 36 hours with fatigue and queasiness after my second Moderna shot. I do take Acalabrutinib. Sorry to hear of husbands trouble.

My glands did not swell - maybe a tiny bit - but nothing unusual.

I got my 1st Moderna shot in mid-Feb & 2nd in mid-Mar. Both times I was sick, but a little less so after #2. I did have the Lilly antibody infusion (not cocktail) in mid-Dec when I was told at the ER I was COVID+. I spent a few days in the hospital in mid-Jan. with COVID. I don't know why I had a reaction to the Modern VAX's though could be the VAX & antibodies fighting it out, or VAX & COVID doing the same.
