Is there anyone here with a 90% CLL tumor load and on Ibruvica that has had any of the vaccines for covid-19? What were your results?

Hi,I was diagnosed at stage 4 90% plus tumour load in November. On Obinutuzumab cycles and Ibrutinib. I was vaccinated late Jan , had covid mid Feb.... test weekly for Neutralising antibodies.... so far non detected.

I just read where mRNA vaccines were only about 13% effective in B-CLL and some other "blood" cancers when taken on a 12 week cycle. Even with that the second dose has to come no later than the 21st day following initial. I had Covid-19 about three months (lasted about 24 hrs) ago and was waiting for research on efficacy and cycles for the various vaccines in immunosupressed individuals.

I haven’t heard of tumor load in CLL before. Could you let me know more about what that is? Thanks.

I had 10% of my normal marrow left = 90 % tumor. Used to be called stage 4.

My BMB showed 90% CLL, but no mention of tumor load.

It wouldn't be on a printout.

The doctor never made mention of tumor load.
