Vaccine antibodies

Hi - is anyone in the UK aware of anywhere we can check (privately or otherwise) whether we have Covid vaccine resultant antibodies please?

Personally I don't trust send away or online antibody tests, no transparency. If you know any medial professionals then I would suggest you get them to order a pack of the RTC ABC-19 tests.

Hi, I’m under the care of the Royal Marsden, London and was invited by them to have the antibody test 3 weeks after my first jab. Sadly, I didn’t have any antibodies.

Disappointing for you although I’d wait until after my 2nd I think and as people have pointed out T cell response just as important for us. Thank you

I don't know why the Marsden would offer it after one dose. Will they test you again 3 weeks after the second shot?

They haven’t offered it but I’ll ask for a repeat test after my second jab.

Quick update - I’ve registered for Phase 2 of UK Biobank's coronavirus self-test antibody study so, although I’m sure it’s a fairly crude assay, I may get some sense of whether I have any antibodies courtesy of the vaccine .
