That’s good news podris and the fact your tonsil swelling improved with Ibrutinib seems to confirm it was your Cll that was the problem.

There is a good chance you can stay on ibrutinib a long time, perhaps indefinitely. It’s also possible at some point your doctor may add a drug to help you get a remission. We have lots of good treatment options these days.

That’s great news. Can I just ask if they started treatment just because of your tonsils swelling or did you have other symptoms that triggered treatment? I have continuing very frustrating and uncomfortable ENT symptoms related to SLL which I’ve been told will continue until if/when I need treatment. Thanks

Good morning my lymph nodes were swollen in my neck and facial areas and my Dr. whom I trust said he was very sure starting treatments would take care of it. That was after he consulted with the ENT. Hope this helps you.
