Woke up this morning with a swollen face mainly below my right earlobe,it is slightly tender to the touch. Anybody got any idea what it might be? I had chemo three year’s ago but my consultant has told me that unfortunately my cll is getting active again.would appreciate any comments.

Sorry to hear about your face swelling. It could be from medications you are taking. I had my face swelling because of my blood pressure medicine. In any case you should seek medical attention. Best wishes for you.
Certainly check with provider. having said that, quite likely to be Parotitis. lemon drops would increase pain a bit, almost confirming diagnosis. Treatment is hydration, time, maybe antibiotic.
Interesting you should pose this question at this time! I currently have a swollen face too. Mine however is from a sinus infection. I agree with the need to call your physician for an evaluation. Hope you get to the cause as well as relief promptly. I am finding warm compresses to my face somewhat helpful but don’t want to advise that until you get to the nature of your swelling. Please post an update when you can.
