Vaccine on or off treatment

Will ask MD but wondering... If off ibrutinib for a week do to a procedure... how could this affect vaccine response if it happens shortly before, shortly after, or in between 1st and 2nd vaccine.

That is a question I had not thought about. Please let us know what your DR. says. It will most likely be a situation not been dealt with yet, but your Dr. will have some idea of how to handle that or other situations that will not be the normal situations.

Might improve response based on the hep B vaccine data and BTKi suggesting they impair response, but that is a big logical jump.

Interesting, I learned that BTK blocker increase replication for Hep B and some treatment like vemledy is strictly necessary. Is it true?

Spoke to my oncologist, did not have much to say one way or the other. Although, I’m not a big fan of these phone appointments. Prefer office visits for better dialogue communication
