I am newly diagnosed at age 71. The only number I grasp is the WBC #, mine is 59,000. I was stunned with this diagnosis, but turned to my faith and became confident that victory was achievable. This group thread is the best. I see the intelligence and feel the comfort in sharing.

I have new bothersome aches and sincere concerns of Covid. My immediate family is large and active together. Caution is practiced and iphone daily contact is a regular activity. Ten of us on a thread share funny stuff and small talk.

I thank everyone in this group for joining and sharing. I can feel the love.

Sandra

Sandra,

There are many knowledgeable and caring people on this site. When first diagnosed I was essentially on my own, very difficult for those not dealing with this life changing news to understand what a struggle it is to get your head wrapped around go forward. I was diagnosed in July and found this site the following september. The wealth Of information and support is game changing. I have learned more from this site than anywhere else steering away from the outdated Information. The community here is life saving, can’t say enough about how much it has helped me. Best to you!

Welcome Sandra. Sorry you need to be here, but it's a great community for what we need.

As with many new members, are you aware of the post locking function of this forum which makes your posts visible only to forum members? If you do not use this function, your posts are viewable to the general public, search engines like google etc.

For their own security, many members will not respond to non-locked discussions, and it can be in your best interest to keep a higher level of your personal privacy by locking your posts.

If you are interested in locking this post, please go back to your first post, select edit , then scroll down and select viewable to community members only below the message content.
