Hi Sam & welcome. You will find great support here. The good people in this family have a wealth of experience so if in doubt about anything ask away.
Hi Sam. Just adding my welcome. Not the place you wanted to be but well worth the visit. It's such a supportive community and made such a difference to me in the early days whilst I was trying to come to terms with it and understand it all. I made a file of all the things I needed to understand. As time has gone on I either add to it or take something away. I read all about the new treatments (don't always understand it but you'll be surprised how soon you pick things up)
This is also a great place to have a rant if you're feeling a bit angry or just a bit of empathy on a bad day from others who know how you feel.
Oh and the good stuff of course, we all love the good stuff. Share the good moments, it's nice to have fun.

Welcome Sam. I too am in the commercial equipment finance business. This is a great site.
Welcome!
Welcome Sam.
If you need any advice - shout! Due to the nature of CLL you rarely find two people who are at the same stage, the same age, have the same complications so whatever you need there is always someone to answer your questions or point you in the direction of someone/ somewhere who can.

Thanks, Netty..
I have had CLL for just over a year now and I am not sure if recent night sweats are from the CLL condition or not. I normally only get a cold or two yearly and I already have had three so far this year alone. They both could be just coincidences, so I will just wait for my next doctors visit in July and see if there were a serious changes in my labs.

Hi Sam.
I too am 66 but was diagnosed 6+ years ago during a well woman check and have been Watching and Waiting since then. waiting for appointments can be stressful can't it? Make a list of your questions (I can guarantee you will forget to ask something if you don't) and take someone with you (someone with a good memory) so they can remind you of anything you don't take in.
Reference the colds you have suffered this year, I too very rarely catch colds but had two quite nasty ones just before and just after Christmas. My numbers haven't changed much so think it was just that there were a lot of nasty viruses around. Fingers crossed we will be ok for the rest of the year.
Take care
Netty
