Here is the link to last week's webinar videos: cc-dr.org/online/cll Registration is not required.
The webinar has been edited into 3 videos; Prof Hillmen presented on the treatment and research landscape for CLL and the UK FLAIR clinical trial, Ms Sharon Winton, Chief Executive Officer, Lymphoma Australia was interviewed about support and services available for people with CLL. This was followed by Q&A and a panel discussion on what’s new in advocacy, plus an insight into the PEEK study and patient/family perspective of living with CLL.
There is also a final opportunity for Australians with CLL and their carers to register for the 2020 CLL Australia CLL PEEK study via link the just below the webinar. The initial goal was to enroll 100 participants and last I heard, 65 have added their voice. See: healthunlocked.com/cllsuppo... for more information on the study.

I do like Prof Hillmen's use of exceedingly everyday language for the medically uneducated.
The PEEK study questionnaire is not without its flaws. Some questions specifically differentiate between the monitoring stage and the treatment stage, but many questions are only about treatment and demand an answer even if we haven't been treated. So if anyone is in W&W, the questions are straight-forward, but the answers can require a scratch of the noggin.
Thank you for sharing Neil. I had a lot of trouble with interruptions of Dr. Hillmen’s video, so I am saving this and watch it later.
We are so lucky to have these doctors and scientists do all the research into CLL and educating and helping us mortals to understand and choose the correct treatment when needed.
And it goes without saying we are lucky to have you and other administrators and volunteers to bring all this to our attention.
I have just sat and watched/listened to that webinar with my partner. We found it very interesting and yes, Prof Hillmen certainly has a way of explaining things in an uncomplicated way.
My partner visibly relaxed during his explanation and commented that he now understands so much more about “what” CLL is and which treatments are currently available.
We are both feeling so much more confident after hearing Prof Hillmen explain the current research and how treatment is changing so rapidly and for the better. We took on board these fast moving changes within CLL research and are both now confident that whilst I’m still in W&W my long term future is looking very positive.
Thanks to everyone responsible for bringing this webinar to us. I’m going about my day now with a huge grin on my face. And I’m feeling more positive about this CLL journey than ever before.
