Any info on newer drug acalabrutinib/calquence
it;s newer than ibrutinib. should give same results. dosing is twice a day.
it statistically has less AFIB although can still give it. I don't know if other side effects compared to ibrutinib have been measured

I just commented on another Acal. related post. I started out on Ib. and switched to Acal three weeks ago. HAve had worse side affects on full dose-lowered to half dose, was fine. Doc raised to full dose after week and the bad side effects came back.
I was on acalabrutinub for 5 years through a trial at Dana Farber. It was a wonder drug, however it started to not work for me. I was put on venetoclax ( i had a toxicity to it) long story short, it was very effective for me during that time period. I'm surprised more people don't talk about it more on here, very few side effects. I highly recommend it.
