Off Ibrutinib .. on Acalabrutinib

Off Ibrutinib for 2 months , on Acalabrutinib ... all is well , blood tests are almost perfect , next visit to MDAnderson in 3 months ... asked about using Vento in combo with Acalabrutinib and was told that better results will come if I wait a year .. itchy controlled by creams ( CBD and cortisone ) bruising ( ignored ) all in all I am happy with the Acalabrutinib .... we shall see .

Hi I’m on Acalabrutinib with venetaclax added after cycle 2 I can honestly say I feel great all bloods normal all noades hardly noticeable no side effects it’s a great combo

Hi. Great to hear you are doing well. I am on acalabrutinib too now for 3 months and same side effects. Very manageable! How long did it take to get to normal results? I will also ask my CLL doc about adding Venetoclax. Thank you!

Less than 2 months for normal results ..

Wow. I am slower but my wbc started at 200. Then went up and now back down. Also only on one a day because of other issue with my kidney. So fingers crossed!!!

You missed the fact that I was on Ibrutinib for 6+ years prior to getting on Acalabrutinib

What are your markers ? Combo acalabrutnib and Venetoclax has some solid results , good luck
