Ok as I understand it the UK government has asked us with cll on chemo or inhibitors or stem cell ,BMT to self isolate for 12:weeks and have seen this as advice given in bloodwise .
But thought I would phone my own hospital James Paget and my consultant secretary to see what there advice is and they are advising that we don't need to self isolate only if you are on chemotherapy or sct ,BMT and they have received no advice from the BMA to suggest otherwise
So what advice do we follow
The governments and other associated blood cancer groups like bloodwise or are own local hospital confused,?? I am

The advice you're reading is not contradictory. Rather, there are varying degrees of conservatism being show in their directions.
The interpretation you should select is the one you're best able to follow. if you can self-isolate for 12-weeks you're far more likely to emerge unscathed from these difficult times than if you can only accomodate a lesser regimen.
These are times to try to stretch oneself to limit as much as possible exposure to others ~ individuals who may unknowingly be carrying the virus you want to avoid.
