First diagnosed with CCL in Sept. 2019,from that that time to Jan. 2020 my WBC has

gone from 15 to 68.In Jan. 2020 my RBC was 2.75, HGB 79, PLT 91, I was also given

a bone biopsy with more than 90% involvement by CD5 positive B cells. The next day

I was give an infusion of 2 bags of blood. The next week my Oncologist started me on

a regiment for chemotherapy of Rituximab and Bendamustine for 6 months, 2 consecutive days per month. It has been a little over 2 weeks since I started, I have had no Nausea, fever, a small amount of tiredness but had initial bloating and swelling

(gained 10 lbs. in 4 days) this went away in the next week, but over the past few days

I have had trouble urinating (somethings I just stand there feel the urge but nothing

happens) last night while sleeping I felt my heart rate seemed fast. I checked it 3 times

during the night and it was between 75-78. My normal heart rate is about 65. This morning it was 68. has anyone else had expeience with the systems? Especially

the urine problem. Thanks

Leo

Leo, were you given a contact number for a chemotherapy nurse if you had any problems? You need to seek medical attention if you can't urinate. I don't recall anyone on BR previously mentioning this particular problem. How often do you have blood tests to check you haven't become neutropenic and hence are at increased risk of infection?

Hi Neil,

They my blood at least once a month but lately every 2 weeks.

I am susceptible to infection and have been taken Grastofil injections.

Good news, last night I did some heavy sweating and my urine problem

seems to have disappeared, my temperature is back to normal (was slightly

high) blood pressure and pulse back to normal. The pressure had been low and

my pulse had been high. I think my problems were caused by retention

of liquids.

Hello laldoroty

I did the full Rituximab and Bendamustine treatment and did not have the issues you mentioned. Are you drinking the recommended 8-10 8 fluid oz of water each day? You will be back soon for another treatment, correct? Check with infusion team at pre-treatment exam. Blessings.

Hello laldoroty

Good, sounds like you are on right track. I had nights for about a month into my B+R treatment. I have not had any night sweats after the first months treatment. Blessings.
