after all of this I find myself with a half sleeve of Ibrutinib and a full sleeve of the same, value about $17k and 3 weeks worth of Acalabrutinib worth about $9k in my drawer. because they were prescribed to me but are untouched by me, I don’t think I can donate them to another worthy person or organization. If anyone knows how we can get someone to be able to benefit from these I am all ears!

So Much Money in the Drawer

in many states its ok to donate unused chemo pills that are not expired. its not permitted to take payment for them though cancer.net/blog/2014-04/wha...
I had the same problem. The pharmacist at my oncologist's office said there isn't any options for this. She gave me a package that would hold up to 40 pills, that would make them inert. Then I could just throw the package away. Hated to do it, but I couldn't tolerate the Ibrutininib, so no choice.
Hopefully someone who needs them will private message you and you can work out a deal/arrangements. 💕
It’s not permitted to transfer a personal prescription to another person I’m afraid and it’s actually against the law in the U.K.
They’ll need to be returned to the pharmacy though I can fully understand the frustration and waste involved.

Call the Pan foundation or leukemia lymphoma society. They might be able to help.
