Hi everybody. After my taking Ibrutinib and venetoclax for 15 months my wbc are within normal range and my lymph nodes are normal. Now my platelets are dropping and my neutrophils which make me concerned. Anyone else experiencing this after stopping the meds. Thanks

Platelets and neutrophils dropping
I note that you been off Ibrutinib and Venetoclax for about 9 months and were concerned 5 months ago about dropping platelet counts. How low have your platelet and neutrophil counts dropped? Has your specialist commented about these changes? Have you started any other medication in that time?
You know to be more careful about avoiding infection with low neutrophils, but provided they remain above 1.5/1,500, your risk of infection shouldn't be too concerning. Platelets can drop down to under 50/50,000 before you start to experience spontaneous bruising, but the influence of clotting factors can change that. Platelet transfusions aren't required until counts drop under 20 (,000), but obviously you would like to know why this is happening!
