Something you might ask your general physician about? Best wishes.
Hi Farber,
Sorry to hear about all your UTIs. Here are some links that have lots of tips on how to avoid such infections. I found them very helpful. I used to get a lot of UTIs but don't now.

Dear Farber , I was taught by my urologist to spread your knees as far apart as possible. Then lean over them on your elbows. So elbows on top of knee caps. When you pee in this position it causes the urethra to lengthen. And you will pee like you are 20yrs old. The other ideas the others gave you are all very good. Wash with a gentle soap (Ivory). Don’t wear any tight pants. Good luck. Anna
Thank for advice
Are you being treated with antibiotics for all of these UTI’s?
No, but my mother gets constant UTIs as she is older and bed ridden.
Lots of water and cranberry juice is known to help a urinary tract infection. Cranberry juice can cure a UTI by itself, but is very acidic so if you get “heartburn” watch out.
There is a product line called AZO that gives you one serving of cranberry juice, plus probiotic and vitamin C in an over-the -counter pill form that’s very good.
There is another AZO product that is an antibacterial defense and contains methanamine plus sodium salicylate (NSAID) pill which I would avoid NSAID if platelets are low.
All of these remedies are over-the-counter. Always check with your Doctor even if you take something over the counter.
I would start drinking the cranberry juice and water right away if you can stand the acidity.
If they persist you need antibiotics from your doctor and if the antibiotics m stop working you need to ask them to culture your urine because it’s not always E. coli that causes UTIs sometimes it’s another bacterium.
Watch how you wipe yourself after defecating especially if you are female. Wipe front first then your bum. E. coli resides is feces. You don’t want to get feces near your urethra (where you pee from).
After relations with your spouse, you need to remember to urinate, as well. That’s where the term “honeymoon cystitis” came from.
These are just tips I picked up from having this constant problem of UTIs with my family member.
Good luck and I wish I could help more.
It may well be the flushing effect from the additional water rather than the cranberry juice that help some with UTIs. The science is not definite:
