If you like his style read The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer. I have read it a couple times.

I wish everyone looking for alternative cures would read "Emperor of all Maladies'. Then perhaps they would appreciate that modern chemotherapy came out of the study of how natural substances affected cancer cells in vitro and how thousands and thousands of samples of natural substances were collected from around the world and used in this testing when 'war on cancer' was declared. That book conveys well how very challenging cancer is to defeat - hence the title.

Interesting that with CAR-T, the answer of how to cure cancer lies within ourselves.
