I wish that I still lived in Long Island. I would have loved to be able to attend your get togethers. I grew up in Miller Place out a ways on the north shore. I have not seen any meeting advertised where I live now (San Antonio, TX). Oh well...

Me too, I grew up in Glen Cove. Miss it. Florida now.

Hi Ginajetta, I miss Florida too... I went to college in Jensen Beach back in the 80's and then was stationed in Jacksonville in the early 90's. I guess we always miss the places where we have lived...

Yes true we will always miss places we lived. Moved to Florida 1995 after most of family members moved here.😊

LOL I don't think they would fit me anymore. I retired about 11 years ago and have put on a little weight. We used to have a hard time keeping those dress whites clean onboard ships. That was pretty futile...
