I live in Southampton. United Kingdom, our next CLL Support Meeting is coming up at Southampton General Hospital, if anyone is interested and local you are more than welcome to come along.

Hello,

I have just seen your post about the Southampton CLL Support Group and a meeting in 2019. I was diagnosed a couple of months ago. Is the group still in existence? I live in Southampton.

Hi there,

I was diagnosed in 2017 and live in Midanbury. Yes the group is still going - although now virtually. Before Covid we used to meet roughly every 3 months.

Southampton General is an amazing hospital, My consultant is Dr.Forconi, the research that goes on is unbelievable.

I was on Watch and Wait for a while but have now been on Ibrutinib for 18 months and going well so far.

Next time I receive an email from Leukaemia care who organise the meetings I will let you know and also let them know you are interested.

Hi there, before lockdown they were every 2-3 months, but due to lockdown they have been virtual online meetings.The last one was 26 April, when the next one is arranged I will forward on the details to you 👍

Hi there, Donna who runs the group is thinking the next meeting will be August 4th, she is waiting as long as possible before announcing it in case the group can meet up face to face.I will keep you informed of any updates.
