I am on ww but my lymphs in neck are enlarged and my allergies have been acting up all winter but not actually sick. I had a ct recently and a node biopsy. First doc said I needed treatment but I feel fine then went to specialist he said I'm fine so watch and wait. I'm really confused with the nodes. They kind of go down and up. Help

Nodes enlarge and contract frequently... is very common... usually it is an immune response and not CLL related.

Are you 11q, by FISH? Very common to have quite pronounced nodes for this group... particularly around the neck, shoulders and upper torso..

If you are concerned, then see your CLL hemaetologist.

Mine go up and down too. Right now they are smaller out of nowhere... The concern is when they become 5-10cm. If you are like me you might think: What???

If you dig around on this site you will find people whose nodes got this large.

Remember when you grab a node to size it up crudely you are grabbing flesh too. So subtract that when guestimating.

Thank you it's just weird and the last doc took a node and and new doc said there was no need just needed bone marrow to diagnose ugh

Prior to the start of treatment (Imbruveca), My lymph nodes were very large. Distorted my neck even and tests showed they were quite large everywhere, even showed up on my mammogram.

They went away quickly with treatment. My Oncologist didn't start treatment til they were in the 3-4 cm range. I was still trying to talk her out of it but no go, Lol..

My allergies were acting up most of the winter too, which is unusual and I thought maybe it was the CLL and my immune system. Neither my specialist nor my primary was concerned though. My primary said lots of people are complaining about their allergies this year.

That's a relief. I found a natural product that as seems to be helping get over this stuff. Back of throat like a leaky faucet. I usually use natural things for allergies but this time it was weird.Sore throat on and off. Inflammation in lungs.
