Hi everyone. Hope you are all doing ok. I have been started back on prednisone and methotrexate injections for my rheumatoid arthritis which has been in remission for two years. I had my 6 monthly visit to my haematologist and he mentioned that my recent Immune blood tests were low. He confirmed that would account for back to back antibiotics being required for severe sinus infections. He suggested I could start the monthly infusions but for now I said I will see how I go. It seemed to be mainly winter when I had so many infections. My routine blood tests were more elevated than last time but that seems to be the pattern. I am still troubled by painful swollen neck nodes and also have the same thing down my left side of rib cage. So I am about to start my 11th year of Watch and Wait. Anyway, I wanted to wish you all a merry Christmas and a wonderful, healthy New Year.
Cheers,
Indie 😊

Did your doctor say how low your IgG is. Some people do well getting IVIG just during flu and cold seasons, others (I'm one) get them year round. For me it's totally worth it as I no longer live from infection to infection, which antibiotics stopped helping.
