Imbruvica after Dilantin

I've been on imbruvica for 2 years and was also taking Dilantin for seizures. I was told Dilantin kept the Imbruvica from working properly so I went off Dilantin about 2 months ago and now my white count and lymphocytes have been climbing. Is that to be expected and is it working better or is the cancer getting worse. My hemoglobin is around 12 and platelets near 100.

If you are being treated with Imbruvica (ibrutinib) its fairly common for your absolute lymphocyte count [ALC] to increase in the first few months as the B lymphocytes are cleared from nodes into the blood...

Over time this number should diminish... and other blood count will rise.

You don't say how long you have been taking Imbruvica. In your position I would want my neurologist and my hematologist to be on the same page. I hope you didn't just discontinue the Dilantin on your own!
