Website The Basics Living Well with CLL

-

Hello, Friends and Supporters of the CLL Society.

Blood Cancer Awareness Month takes place every September. The CLL Society joins 100s of other nonprofits and charities in promoting awareness. Pooled together, blood cancers (leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma) would make the 4th most common cancer and a leading cause of cancer deaths. Too many blood cancers remain incurable. Too many patients suffer from problems from the cancer itself or its treatment. While our cancer may be invisible, that doesn't make it easy.

-

September 15 is Lymphoma Awareness Day (LAD). Since CLL is both a leukemia and lymphoma, we join our electronic hands with other nonprofits, charities, and individuals across the globe helping those living with lymphoma.

-

CLL Society is a proud member of the international Lymphoma Coalition and serves on the steering committee of the CLL Advocacy Network (CLL-AN). As I mentioned last week, it was CLL-AN that sponsored the recent international meeting in Prague where Brian and I spoke in front of advocates from 27 different countries.

-

Please support the CLL Society and others who help those with blood cancer live longer and stronger lives.

Watch and Wait

-

This week Brian has written on one of the most counter-intuitive aspects of CLL, Watch and Wait, presenting historical data and new research done by the CLL Society.

-

Expert Access is open!

-

Don't have access to a CLL expert? Need a second opinion? We are pleased to offer this free resource for patients who need access to a CLL expert through a HIPAA compliant online video consultation.

-

CLL/SLL patients in the US can advance research NOW with just a few clicks!

-

The CLL Society is pleased to announce its collaboration with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) on the LLS National Patient Registry project (LLS-NPR). We are excited to have this unique opportunity to be at the forefront among blood cancer disease organizations in the United States.
