Hi Angus,
I've modified your post title so members are more likely to respond. Has your partner contacted his medical team about this possible side effect?
Neil
I never had that side effect though I did have problems with constipation for a few days after each treatment. You should definitely contact your chemotherapy nurse and see what's going on. Good luck!!
If you are in the U.K. phone the chemo nurse contact today.
The bowels are one of the exits for all those drugs so colour changes and constipation are normal.
Water, water, water.
However that doesn’t seem to be the problem here. Don’t think you are being silly by phoning. That’s why you have that number.
P.S. that number can be used when treatment is finished as well, it is the medical support that is far more experienced than the GP as far as CLL is concerned.
After my first infusion yes, I had a similar side effect but it passed quickly. (No pun intended.)
Thanks my partner seems ok now
My partners been to clinic today and they have postponed his second cycle of FCR due to his platelets very low and don’t know what’s caused it
