Does anyone know about taking food grade peroxide with water? If so, what are the measurements? Thanks!

What are you using it for?

Works great for killing fungus inside camera lens... clean toilets and countertops... etc...

Thanks Chris! I heard that taking the food grade oxygen peroxide in distilled water helps with Leukemia. Doing some research on this.

It's a dangerous practice with no proven benefit: webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/new...

Thank you AussieNiel for the information.

I don't know anything about "food grade" peroxide but in some types of growing plants it is used around 1/8th cup per gallon of water...but the non food grade comes in either 3% concentration (most common) or a whopping 30% and the 1/8th cup is for the 3%

It is as Chris said also used to clean and kill fungus, spores, mold etc. It breaks down very quickly and to be honest I am not sure it would be helpful to ingest it...not to mention it tastes really bad.

I have had to use hydrogen peroxide to induce vomiting in my dog after she ingested some mistletoe as a young dog. This was per the poison control center instructions which cost me $20 for the phone consult. Not certain if this is the same peroxide that you mean but vomiting is a sure thing with only a tablespoon for an 80lb dog.

I've used it diluted in water for an infected toenail bed. Even then, my doctor said not to use it too much, as it cannot distinguish between affected and healthy cells.

There is nothing that could convince me to ingest it. I suggest you go to this link,

poison.org/articles/2012-ju... and forget this idea.

I just saw your post. If you are referring to the booklet called one minute cure please don’t waste your time. I did try it for a short time and it bothered my stomach. I do use hydrogen peroxide around house for cleaning and washing fruit and veggies. I believe if you check into any Gerson Treatment centers the first thing they provide for your use is a towel and bottle of hydrogen peroxide for cleaning yourself.

There was a myth circulating amongst the alternative remedy folk that "oxygenated water" will kill cancer. It's complete bunk and adding peroxide to water does not even have that affect.
