No recordings or video planned, this is much more informal meet & greet style.

We will let the video recordings to Patient Power, ONC Live, the ASH & ASCO interviews etc.

I envy you having these kind of opportunities at a more informal level.

Both Dr. Furman and Dr. Lamanna are very relaxed and comfortable just "hanging out" with patients. It makes them so easy to engage and have a discussion like sharing coffee with your neighbor.

In fact when we originally asked for meeting space, Dr. Furman volunteered to do this. But CLL Society discouraged us from having medical professionals at group support meetings.

Dr. Furman kept asking to attend, so Nolan the facilitator got special permission, so he could participate.

Dr. Furman is a real "mensch" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mensch

They have (or used to have) them in Cardiff. Prof Fegan has attended. Impossible for me to go (school days). Haven’t seen one adertised for a while now. I think HAIRBEAR_UK spoke of them. Maybe when I retire!

Would love to have gone.

Peggy 😀
