Has anyone had any trouble with traveling with ibrutinib, like being stopped at airports, or had them stolen?

Traveling with Ibrutinib
In the last 10 years I have traveled all over the world extensively for work. One of our other USA members resides primarily in Japan, has his Ibrutinib shipped to him by a family member and is a photographer all over China and North Korea. Neither of us have had any problems to my knowledge.
I did find that if I put my bottle of pills (Ibrutinib, Idelalisib or Venetoclax) into one of the plastic bags that said "CHEMOTHERAPY" the inspectors left it alone.

I have traveled with meds there much more concerned about without issue BUT it is important to have them in the correctly marked script container and i always keep then in my hand carry bag much like my passport
If there were just lose in your own bottle it would cause a problem
On my last trip home from France to the USA there was and alert and the agent completely took apart my backpack and did not even blink at any of the meds
Travelled USA - Spain - Holland - USA with meds with no problem
Have flown between the UK and Europe twice, and between the UK and the USA twice since I started taking Ibrutinib 9 months ago - always carry my meds in my hand luggage but have not had any problems at all.🙂

Hi Zaax
I have travelled twice internationally since started IB. I normally packed them in my backpack to avoid being sent to wrong destination or taken unintentionally by another passenger.
Haven’t encountered any issues at all, so far so good.

Hi zaax
I traveled twice internationally with IB in my backpack. No issues with customs or airlines at all.
No travel issues. I do make sure I have it on me and not packed in luggage in case it gets lost.
I too have travelled extensively throughout Asia, Europe and the Middle East with no problems. I have a letter from my Oncologist explaining what they are which I carry in my hand luggage with the drugs.
