Have been on Ibrutinib for over a year and had few side effects. But just lately have experienced blemishes on my skin. Is this a possible side effect?

Spots with Ibrutinib
Dark spots and bruising are a common side effect of Imbruvica (ibrutinib). Tell your CLL doctor and monitor them...

Thank you Chris, but these are more like under the skin blood spots.
I believe they are also related to Ibrutinib. I know what you are describing and for me they started with Ibrutinib treatment
Known side effect of Imbruvica (ibrutinib)..
Petechiae are pinpoint, round spots that appear on the skin as a result of bleeding. The bleeding causes the petechiae to appear red, brown or purple.
Petechiae (puh-TEE-kee-ee) commonly appear in clusters and may look like a rash. Usually flat to the touch, petechiae don't lose color when you press on them.
Sometimes they appear on the inner surfaces of the mouth or the eyelids.

Get them regularly. Often fairly large in size. Almost look like a blood blister under the skin. They often seem to follow a bruise or bump. Usually clear after a few days
I got them around my armpits when I started imbruvica. Come and go often. Last year they blistered and I was diagnosed with shingles.
Have blood blisters pin size on and off. Had whole body rash for a week or two like chicken pox, but they didn't itch.
Thanks G
Petechiae is a known side effect of ibrutinib. I have them on occasion in various locations, and was told that usually it is not serious. Bleeding is a risk when on ibrutinib, so it would be important to let your prescribing physician know.
