Bloodwise would like your experience of Ventoclax for treatment assessment for NHS Scotland

The Scottish Medicines Consortium (SMC) is reviewing the chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) drug venetoclax – you might also know it’s brand name, Venclyxto.

If you are a CLL patient who has been treated with venetoclax, we would love to hear about your experiences. This will help us to represent the views of patients when this treatment is assessed for NHS use in Scotland.

If you’d like to help, please email our Head of Policy and Public Affairs, Chris West on cwest@bloodwise.org.uk with your thoughts on the following questions:

- How does CLL affect your day to day life?

- What was your experience of being treated with venetoclax? What impact did it have on you and your family?

- How did treatment with venetoclax differ from other treatments you have experienced?

- Were there any disadvantages of taking venetoclax?

You can also help by tagging anyone in this post that you think might be able to help.

  • I will submit a response to them regarding my Venetoclax experience which has been very positive. I did the same for Australia. Not sure if they have made a decision yet.

  • I submitted my experience with Venetoclax and received a very nice reply back from Mr. West. Hoping for a favorable review by the SMC.

  • Good to hear you got a reply back - thanks for responding - it will all help
