I keep reading various sites about the benefit of healthy eating for people with cancer and there are many who say changing their diet has even beaten cancer. Being one who loves a good steak I think I would fine it difficult the become a vegan but I know I need to seriously cut out or cut down on red meat. Can anyone recommend any good healthy eating sites or good recipes. I like a good salad but would like to be a little more adventurous in the kitchen regards healthy eating.

Www.marksdailyapple.com is a good site for ancestral diet, what humans evolved eating. It was not vegan. Don't be afraid of meat, just try to eat organic, grass fed meat, pastured eggs, lots of organic fruits and veggies.
The fact that there seems to be no conclusive research around how diet affects or can control CLL is a source of frustration to me. Vegan and ketogenic diets have both been suggested to me. Talk about totally opposite! The only consistent feedback I have gotten is to cut way back on added sugar and alcohol. Maybe someone will find some money to do a proper study around this.
Cheers for the replies, yes it is all very frustrating, general healthy eating I think. Cut down on red meat, certainly processed meat. Indulge in much fresh fruit and veg. I already rarely have more than the odd tipple and don't add sugar so fingers crossed. Organic as much as possible as well
Dr. Neil Barnard and Dr. MacDougall are two great doctors with knowledge and experience, they are both plant based eaters and have several books available, including recipe books with very hearty meals, they are not the just smoothie and salad types at all... There is also the Forks Over Knives Cookbook and The China Study Cookbook and the latest PlantPure Nation Cookbook as well... All have websites and all the books are widely available... Bon Appetit 😉
