Hi Julian

I guess like me you must be feeling really disappointed with the response from our community. I know many have their own charities they follow and some have severely restricted income maybe due to their Cll. All quite understandable. However with over 3000 community members, I find it unbelievable and so very sad that only 35 people have donated in support of the a charity that does so much for us, and this HU arm.

I'm guessing that some of those 35 are friends and family.  I'll try not to feel very hurt that people use this community and accept help or support, or just lurk or offer advice, but are not prepared to do this small thing to help.

Personally I thank you so very much for undertaking this challenge for us. Good luck, stay safe.

I and I know others donated to jules when he raising money for blood wise on this site for this bike ride, it's a shame he wasn't raising for clla on here at that time and unfortunately I cannot sponsor again but I fully support jules in his hard work and endurance in raising money for the benefit of this community and blood wise ,from one Jules to another good luck and thank you xxx

Hi

I agree that this is a great effort from Jules - thanks!

Just wanted to add that I have made a donation (back in Feb) but, although I've seen my donation/message listed on Jules' page previously, and I still have the receipt for my donation, it is now not displayed on the Just Giving page 😕

I really don't mind that my message has gone missing (perhaps the page doesn't display everything if space is an issue) but, if there are more like me, there could be more than 35 donations - it would be nice to think so! My more pressing concern is around whether my donation remains in the coffers...I hope that hasn't disappeared too!😮

So - Jules...if you have any problems (that you know of) with donations, please feel free to send me a message to discuss. After all, and as you say Bubnjay1, we want to make sure this charity gets as much support as possible!

Be well, everyone!

Debs.

Hi Debs

You had me worried there  for a minuete

If you go to the bottom of the donations and click on page 2 you are there and a big thank you to.

Oh...doh! I hadnt realised there was a page 2 (looks as though the Just Giving page displays differently on their mobile site as there is no sign of a Page 2 until you go to the "full" site) - thanks for checking!

Really not bothered about any message/name check/etc. - just wanted to make sure the cash was still in the pot☺

Thanks again for all your efforts - you'll definitely earn every penny you get for the cause! 😊

Stay well

Debs.

Hi Bubnjay

I really appreciate your support and all the other Cllsa members who have sponsored me to help raise  653.70. I know Cllsa will appreciate the funds as much as we appreciate what they do for us all.

Take care and best wishes

Jules

Thanks for doing this run, Julian.  I did try to give a donation but "Justgiving" kept rejecting my attempts.  In the end, I gave up.  But I might ask hubby to try and do it for me..

wishing you all the best,

Paula

Hi. Admit to not giving sorry. My son, next month, is himself doing an event to raise funds for the CLLSA (155 mile bike ride plus 20 mile run of fell running over 3 mountains in just 24 hours) so needless to say my money went to him..I would love to support you Jules but naturally my money goes to my boy and at least it will all go in the same pot,

I admire greatly what you are both doing and wish you well.

Peggy

Hi Peggy  - thats fine don't worry wish your son well for me in his challenge
