Kiovig infusion today

Have had my infusion today at Raigmore in Inverness. The sun was shining, the windows were open, the nurses were their usual brilliant selves. The job that they do is awe inspiring. I always feel guilty when the alarm on the infusion pump goes off because they are also looking after cancer patients in the ward who I can't help thinking that I am taking away the nurse from someone who needs her attention more than me.

It's a real vocation being a chemotherapy nurse, agree that they are amazing.

How has it been going after your infusion? Do you feel better? You sound like a beautiful spirit concerned about others. The nurses are there for you too! It's OK to let them care for you. Best of luck.

Thanks for all of the likes and replies, all the hospital staff are wonderful,

It usually takes me a day or two to get over the infusion, mainly because it is just under a hundred miles round trip to the hospital. I try to take each day as it comes and if I can make someone smile or laugh each day I know that I will not be beaten easily by this illness.

Lots of good will to everyone.
