Happy Father's Day from the U.S.

I don't know if the date is universal but even if it isn't celebrated on this day where you are, I say a toast to you.

I read a quote yesterday that made me think about my father and father-in-law, long gone from this Earth but never from my memory.

Jeff

“I believe that what we become depends on what our fathers teach us at odd moments, when they aren’t trying to teach us. We are formed by little scraps of wisdom.” Umberto Eco.

Nice sentiments Jeff and certainly shared by me in memory of my father and father in law.

And yes we celebrate Father's Day in the UK today. Not sure about other countries however.

Yes, Father's day here too.

Thanks, my father and father in law also gone but always remembered. The joy now of the next generation, hope my sons remember of "scraps" of wisdom from their father and perpetuate the wisdom to their children.

Two lovely posts - did you view the Sand drawing!
