And so say all of us Neil. You are a great support and I look forward to reading your informative posts and replies to posts.
Absolutely agree. Aussie Neil is a legend!
Thank you Jeff and to everyone else who has responded. It's reassuring to know my contributions are appreciated . To your credit, administration of this community is not at all onerous - in fact it's a pleasure to be a member of group where everyone's input is respected.
Probably the most important thing I've learnt about CLL is that there is a huge variability in how we respond to challenges we meet on our journey with CLL. If your experience is different from someone else who has replied, that shouldn't take away from your experience. So please don't hesitate to jump in with your own contributions from your life with CLL. You may get a welcome reply from someone else who is relieved to know that they aren't alone.
Living with an incurable cancer can be tough to accept and it might be hard to believe that any good can come out of it. But then you find supportive communities like this one, where you can meet people and make long lasting friendships with others that know how precious life is. When you live with uncertainty hanging over your head, you learn to appreciate and value what's really important in life.
This community would quickly become boring if you only had my posts and responses to read. So thanks should also go to the many regular contributors that make this site an interesting place to visit. In the last year, we've had between 41 and 55% of our community involved each month. With close to 1,900 members, that's close to 800 people contributing on average 1,000 items of new content every month. So give yourselves a pat on the back too!
