It's tough here in the US. It's made us strong advocates, though, for our personal health and that of our loved ones. But it's always a good idea to be on top of your own medical information and it's never a bad thing to advocate for yourself. Just a little more challenging with our system....
I absolutely agree mcints...I wasn't being flippant it's just that the NHS gets such a battering sometimes and it's all too easy to take for granted the lack of documentation and insurance negotiations. It doesn't always get it right of course and we still have to challenge and advocate for ourselves. But it's wonderful not having to worry about the invoice at the end of it!
