Richters update

Hi everyone, just thought I would post an update re my richters tranformation. As i have seen an increase in sweats, my co sultant arranged another ct scan. The scan has revealed an

enlargment of my lymph nodes pretty much everywhere since the previous scan in january. It could be just the cll in which case they could hold off treatment for a while as my blood work is good and within 'normal range' (wbc 4, hb 12.5, platelets 157), however it could be the richters has returned (I finished CHOP in jan 2013 and the maintenance period of ofatumumab in november 2013 for RT). I am having a biopsy from the lymph node under my right arm for confirmation.my consultant mentined that if it proves to be richters again I will be able to have ibrutinib. I think this will be on compassionate grounds. Apart from the sweats I feel well. Will post further updates of my progress. Best wishes everyone

Glad to hear you're actually feeling well in yourself norahmaria despite the sweats and the enlarged lymph nodes. Keeping everything crossed that the tests don't reveal Richter's but should it be the case, I hope you can be given Ibrutinib on compassionate grounds.

Thanks for giving us your update, we're all wishing you well and I hope you're managing to keep strong psychologically.

Warm good wishes,
