One month after kasai

My son had kasai on Nov 5, when he was 83 days old. It's almost a month after surgery, his stool is not consistent yet. It varies between light yellow, green n sometimes pale color, there is also green jelly along with stool. His bilirubin also increased from 10 to 11 in last LFT. He is itchy many times specially on face and scalp, also irritated while feeding quite a few times. Can anyone tell where these symptoms are leading? I m also worried for his growth and weight gain.

Hi Agastya-sri all symptoms do take a while to settle down so even though it feels like its frustrating it is just a waiting game for a while. Do you live in the UK? You can get our resources on our website: childliverdisease.org/liver...

Thanks a lot Lois for reference. Yes it is frustrating to see child crying sometimes for no reason, not able to feed properly and many more. We have to wait and watch for jaundice to come down. We live in India but following all the posts to get as much information on BA from this group.
