my baby boy was underwent kasai on this day 49 of birth. his eyes are still a bit yellowish and stool slowly starting to get yellow. his biopsy report came out a little late. doctors said that they found mild to moderate fibrosis . No cirrhosis . they asked us to remain calm and keep the fingers crossed for about another 1 month to let us know how exactly kasai procedure went. its a very painful waiting period i guess. me and my wife are terrified everytime our son poop. checking his pook like lunatics . his every cries made us to worry if he is crying in pain inside or just for milk. i wanted to know about mild to moderate fibrosis . anyone had this kind of report?

20 days post kasai liver biopsy report
I feel mild to moderate fibrosis is ok, last year when I discussed regarding biopsy report with my doctor she told it's all depends upon luck, she has seen successful Kasai with severe cirrhosis pt and failure even with mild fibrosis to normal biopsy report... don't worry God is there....all the best....

I cant stop praying for my son to be healthy and hope his kasai works successfully without the need for Liver transplant. me and my wife had seen enough pain he gone tru up to this day... we dont dare to see more. plz dear brother. pray for our little one. we had him after a very painful infertility journey. we really want him to be healthy.

My baby girl had some liver problems but It was more than 1 year ago and God made a miracle.
God bless you and your family.
Can i know what is ur baby girl’s liver problem?
She had the diagnosis of biliary atresia, by the specialist, because of ALL the clinical condition and the blood test resaults.
All the ultrasound and even the scintigraphy could boy show anything. The doctor asked for a biopsy, and prepare to a cirurgy to open her and possibly check the problem and correcto it. One day befote the biopsy, she got a flu and could not be in the procedure. We waited onde week and, during this time, she started to improve and the blood tests had a shy improvement. We decided to wait another week.
She improved by herself and the doctors do not have an answer. My husband is a doctor (not liver specialist) and his father too. They can not explain why her liver dos not work well for 2 months.
I hope you can understand my story. God bless you all.
