Benign liver mass op

Hi everyone, my daughter has a large undiagnosed mass on her liver , just before she turned one I felt it in her stomach and was told she was constipated naturally I felt the urge to get a second and third opinion to then be quickly taken to Glasgow childrens hospital and be told it was most likely cancer , a central line was put in and biopsy taken she then needed a blood transfusion and biopsy did not give any clues to a diagnosis. We were sent home and up until now at 4yo my little girl has been happy and thriving with regular scans and bloods tests and protruding tummy.up until these last few weeks , I have been told after MRI the mass has grown and putting pressure on other organs we are to be admitted to Leeds next month for major surgery , naturally I am petrified and would like to hear any similar situations or advice , particularly now my daughter is older and much more aware of how I can begin to explain to her what is happening to her

My daughter has been diagnosed as hepatoblastoma, that she also has a solid mass in her liver. She had been given chemotherapy and possibly will have liver surgery after a month time. Timing is key. Get it treated the early the better. Wish your daughter all the best.
