Just wondering if anyone has any experiences of glandular fever post liver transplant? Would be good to know about symptoms and treatment etc? Our 6 year old son has a very heavy cold but his glands are up. Would be good to hear from you.

Hi! Hope your boy's ok. I don't know about glandular fever and its symptoms but it's always worth getting them checked out by a doctor- you probably have by now anyway! Let us know, when you have a moment.

Hi! We got him checked out by his local consultant at hospital when he was going for his routine bloods. He was concerned so had additional glandular fever test on ward. Pleased to say just got results and were negative. LFT all good. My little boy still has heavy cold but this seems to be the norm for him during winter. He is fine otherwise. Thanks for your concern !
