What are your LDL, HDL and Triglyceride levels please
LDL 4.05 mmo/L HDL 1.52 mmol/L Triglyceride 1.37 mmol/L
Your Trig to HDL ratio is perfectly healthy at 0.9, this ratio is a better indicator of risk than just LDL readings, stop worrying unless of course you are overweight or smoke but lipids are fine
Thank you. I don't smoke or eat meat. My weight is fine. I still am curious about the egg thing though?

Some people respond to foods containing cholesterol by showing increased blood levels, I think 20% has been quoted as food cholesterol responders but IMO the important thing is what happens to those HDL and Trig levels along with the LDL size of LDL cholesterol. If you want to put your mind at rest get a full Lipid panel test which shows LDL size, APO B APO A and Lp(a) levels
Yes, I do eat eggs. They have never done me any harm yet, so I will carry on doing so.
My cholesterol is being checked soon so I’ll try and remember to post something about it here. Thanks for your interest.
I have seen conflicting articles on eggs and cholesterol. They way you make them is also important. Are they fried with butter or do you eat them with bacon?
You probably also know, egg whites contain no cholesterol but still contain protein. You can also use cholesterol-free egg substitutes, which are made with egg whites.
Best wishes.
Right, I just meant you need to watch what you are making your eggs with. Of course some things are better than others.
