Hi. I stopped my statins 20 days ago as I felt they were causing my painful peripheral neuropathy in my feet. (I found solid US science journals advising of the risks of neuro damage from statins. ) while my muscle weakness is better and so is my memory my statin- induced foot pain is not. My concern is that I was on statins for 10 years, so I don't know if my nerves can recover. Does anybody have any experiences or info about the time it takes for your nerves to recover post statin therapy! Thanks.
