Hi,

Do humans in this planet needs statin?, doctors, royals, ordinary people etc.

Sorry traci but I thought this a good report, it's nice to know that some doctors have experienced side effects from statins and therefore it shows us patients we're not alone.

Nothing to do with cholesterol, sorry ... but there appear to be possible alternative uses of statins because of their anti-inflammatory properties. They have been successfully used to slow some of the effects of multiple sclerosis and to reduce the effects of uveitis, which is painful and damaging eye inflammation. ( Personally possibly very useful.)

Not the first time a drug has been found to be useful for something other than its original intention.
