hi all, latest exploit in my quest to get my benign tumour removed…. An iron infusion. Good lord.
well, thankfully my skin doesnt appear to have turned Orange, but my trousers did after the canula leaked. Ah well.
It went well, but do have some slight effects. Im quite dizzy, my tummy is doing an impression of a tumble drier, and i do have wierd flu like symptoms. I have heard now that this is possibly more common than is believed, but nothing paracetamol cant deal with.
Staff were really professional. After they started referring to iron solution as “magic juice” well, everything was just hilarious after that.
Resting up today, my body is telling me to.
another step done and hopefully in a few weeks time, the anaemia will be history.
Phew Circuitbreaker, this, along a lack of quality sleep, will be a real assault on your system! Do take care and be sure to treat yourself to the simple pleasures that cheer you up! 👍
Glad to hear that the treatment went well Hidden ! Make sure you allow yourself plenty of rest for speedy recovery from the side effects. Wishing and hoping that the anaemia will be in your past very soon!
Hi my brother! Hoping you keep doing good with the magic juice....your vibes DEFINITELY make the difference, keep up the good job my man!
yes doing good. It was just a one off (hopefully!) drip fed thing. But strewth it has had side effects! Normally, im pretty to immune to most complications of things, but this had kicked the daylights out of me.
One side effect is dizziness. Oh, yes, check, had that. I ended up on my bum in the shower! Thankfully i did myself no harm except made myself look silly, and apparently for a bloke my size, i made a really dainty thud going over! 🤣 but joking aside, it scared us enough to take precautions (fluids rest etc) while kept under obs by Mrs Cb. It was a good plan, feeling ok now though still a little tired. Back in Jersey for 3 days Rest and Recuperation tomorrow. All part of the plan!
