I’ve had rosacea for four years and sometimes my skin is completely perfect, then wow it can turn its now every 4/5 months it goes red and just burns. I’ve spent thousands on laser, dietician dermatologist lotions potion tablets you name it!
I’ve had two very premature babies in the last 16 months, my youngest being very poorly but now over it.
I think everything comes down to stress and anxiety and this triggers it, or even hormones, just wondering if people have any advice or experiences having Rosaeca after children

Hi Keeprunning123 and a warm Welcome to the Changing Faces Community. Thank you for posting your thoughts on here. It sounds like you have a lot on your plate at the moment and that things have been difficult for a while and that you have been through a lot trying to manage your skin condition. I am very sorry to hear that your youngest baby was poorly for a while but glad that things sound better now on that front. Also I'm sorry that you are dealing with a lot of stress and anxiety and it makes sense the way you describe it that this will affect you in multiple ways.
There is a lot to consider and deal with in terms of a skin condition and it could all feel frustrating and overwhelming at times especially if you haven’t received some clear guidance or emotional support about it. It’s really positive that you were able to reach out and share some of it here and hopefully you'll find in this community some people to connect with and share your experience.
In my humble opinion Rosacea is under realised medically for its physical and emotional impact, often viewed as simply a cosmetic issue. I see you've followed me, so may have read my bio too, and how, in my case, it developed into a more progressive form. But, please don't be panicked by that, as my situ' is rare.
I won't rattle on too much, you've obviously taken many steps yourself to try and solve your own Rosacea. If any of my posts or responses to others' posts are of interest to you, please do chat or ask any questions you want to.
Also, I really hope that both of your babies are doing well now? I'm highly suspicious myself of both female hormones (possibly male too, but I have no idea) and stress as significant triggers for Rosacea. I didn't have any notable skin issues until the menopause years for example. The burning sensation of Rosacea, in my own case, can definitely be linked to stressful situations, I'm in a 'hot phase' flare up at the moment after a third failed attempt to move home in the last year has recently fallen apart.
