Hi there,

I was recommended for CO2 laser treatment for rhinophyma. It can be a very successful treatment for many patients. It didn't go ahead in my own case, as under close examination it was found that the area of skin proposed for treatment was of a fibrous nature, so I was advised that it carried a high risk of scarring. This just gave me some insight behind the 'headline' of it being 'the' solution to my problem. From that experience, I would just suggest asking questions about your particular situation so that you can assess the benefits and risks of any treatment option for yourself. Do hope that's helpful. Wishing you lots of luck x
