It’s important to us that people feel they can speak freely here, and tackle difficult feelings and experiences, but it’s also really important to keep the community a safe space for people who may be feeling vulnerable.

We have taken the decision, in line with our guidelines and those of HealthUnlocked, to remove a recent post that contained content that could be distressing to our members, in particular those who may be struggling with their own mental health. We have reached out to the original poster to let them know, and to offer them alternative services.

We’re not a crisis service, and this forum isn’t able to provide the support needed to help people with suicidal feelings. If you’re feeling suicidal, or worried about somebody who is, please reach out to a healthcare professional or a dedicated crisis service. You can find a list of options here support.healthunlocked.com/.... In the UK you can call Samaritans, for free, day and night, on 116 123. If you’re in immediate danger, we’d urge you to contact the emergency services by calling 999 or going to your local A&E.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to send me a message. And, as ever, if you see something on the forum that you find concerning or upsetting, please click the Report button – this is the fastest way to alert Changing Faces and HealthUnlocked, and is the best way of keeping our community safe. Here is some more information about what happens when you report content: support.healthunlocked.com/....
