I have plagiocephaly.....

Hi guys, I’m Jimmy and I recently found that I have mild positional plagiocephaly. How I found out was I kept staring into the mirror looking at myself and I noticed something was off. I just wanna if I can get surgery to correct my facial asymmetry.

What surgery are you thinking of getting? What features of your do you feel need improving?

To me you look good and normal.

you’re luck you have mild Plagiocephaly, this means less/no facial involvement which shows on your pic.

The fact you’ve come to realise it through your own judgment and not from other people commenting shows how negligible it is, I doubt others even realise.

I honest wouldn’t get surgery if I were you, you look fine.

That's a great point Umar. The reaction and how we are treated is what makes having a visible difference so hard. That's why having a crooked nose for instance isn't as challenging as experiencing social stigma from a physical anomaly.

Not to say that you don't have some condition Ankari but if you don't face prejudice or abuse because of it, consider yourself lucky. Also people always said it to me when I was younger, but I don't notice any profound difference in your appearance. Truly.

I can’t tell and I definitely wouldn’t have surgery. Hardly anyone has a perfectly symmetrical face

The facial asymmetry isnt that much. The only thing i always see with people with plagiocephaly that there neck and face arent properly centered
