I’m new here I hope I can help

I have a mild visible difference due to a rare syndrome that affects my facial structure as well as causing other health problems. I was bullied a lot at school and still receive nasty comments from time to time. I try to be confident and not let other people affect my confidence or mental health. I want to be more active in the visible difference community because I think I can help people from my life experience. If anyone needs advise and support please let me know.

Thank you for this lovely honest post. I believe that confidence is key to believing in yourself & if you can help someone to achieve that feeling then it is a fantastic way to boost someone’s self esteem.

Hey, it’s nice to be in this community because we are all dealing with the same type of thing. It’s nice to hear other stories, so thank you! 😊

Hello there and a very warm welcome to the Changing Faces community. Thank you for your post and your offer of support to people in a similar situation. It sounds like the challenges you've been through have given you a heart to support others. Keep posting. Btw I think your username is pretty cool.

I definitely find sharing experiences with others who can relate makes a big difference. On bad days I take strength from the courage of others. Makes me more determined to face the world and be positive.

Sharing is most definitely a sign of caring & actually defines us as a group I think😊
